Sponsored by Canadian Yachting, the contest is open to all competitors and to the public at large. All photos and videos taken during the event qualify, including social activities prior to the race as well as the race itself.
Photos and videos will be judged in the following three categories: Nature, Team and Humor. Videos will be judged in a single General category
Contest Rules
- Deadline for entries is six weeks after the start of the race.
- Photos and videos can be shared on the new Lake Ontario 300 Flickr Group and Lake Ontario 300 YouTube channels and our Facebook page.
- All photos posted in either the Flickr group page or the Facebook page will automatically be entered in the contest.
- Each contestant agrees that any photo and video entered in this contest will become the property of the LO300 organizing committee and Canadian Yachting.
- Professional photographers do not qualify for prizes.
- Judges will be appointed by Canadian Yachting and the LO300 Organizing Committee.
Winning photos and videos will be featured on Canadian Yachting’s website!
Prizes for first and second place winners in each category will be presented at the awards banquet.
