Race Check In and the Skippers' Meeting is mandatory for all competitors.

Race Check In is from Noon to 7 p.m. in the Chartroom. Ensure all documentation is complete with the Registrar, file your sail plan with the Coast Guard and pick up your Transponder. (Have a credit card ready for the refundable security deposit.)

There is a Steak or Salmon BBQ available at 6 p.m. for $20 inclusive of all trimmings.

The Skippers' Meeting starts at 7 p.m. It is an important informational meeting, including:

  • Welcome - PCYC Commodore Robin Ball; OYS Commodore Murray Fischer
  • Greetings from the City - Mayor Hazel McCallion; MPP Charles Sousa; Derek Hatfield; Adam Mayers; Broad Reach
  • Presentation from Solmar Development Corp. - Giuseppe Paolicelli, General Manager
  • General Race Info - Race Chairman Brian Townsend
  • Sailing Instructions - Principle Race Officer Leigh Davidson
  • Coast Guard Call In Procedures and Sail Plan discussion - Kelly Grew, Diane Faubert
  • Transponder Information from FIS Tracking Systems - Kim Flagstad

Be sure to bring as many of the crew as possible. The better informed we are, the less stress and confusion on the race course.

Don't leave without your race log!

And stay on for an evening of fun, gam and live entertainment with Krista Blondin!

    Welcome letter from the Commodore.
